2.How Our Tools Work — Client-Side Processing
This applies to all current tools including the Image Resizer, Image Compressor, Image Format Converter, Image to PDF Converter, QR Code Generator & Reader, Favicon Generator, and Song Lyrics Finder. The Lyrics Finder sends only the artist name and song title (text you type) to the lyrics.ovh public API to retrieve lyrics — no personal data is involved in this request. All other tools, including the QR Code Generator, QR Code Reader, and Favicon Generator, process data entirely in your browser with zero server communication.
Camera Access (QR Code Scanner): The QR Code Reader tool includes an optional live camera scanning feature. If you click "Scan with Camera," your browser will request permission to access your device camera. Your camera feed is processed locally by your browser using JavaScript — no video or image data is transmitted to any server. Camera access is entirely optional; you may use the image upload method instead. You can revoke camera permission at any time through your browser settings.
3.Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics collects anonymised data including:
- Pages viewed and time spent
- Browser and device type
- Country/city (not your exact location)
- Traffic source (how you found our site)
Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. We do not share this data with any third parties beyond Google. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4.Google AdSense & Advertising

7.Data Retention
We retain data as follows:
- Analytics data — Retained by Google Analytics for 14 months by default.
- Contact form submissions — Retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Log files — Retained for up to 90 days for security purposes.
- Tool files — Not retained. Files never leave your browser.
8.Children's Privacy
Rekreay.com is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
9.Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
